Robert Stephenson Awards
ICE North East hold the annual Robert Stephenson Awards to promote and reward excellence in civil engineering. The awards are the highlight of the civil engineering calendar in the region and is a great opportunity for civil engineers in the region to celebrate their achievements.
The winners will be announced at the ICE North East Annual Dinner to be held at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel Gosforth Park on Thursday 26 April 2012.
Graduate & Student Papers Competition
ICE North East also holds a regional annual Graduate and Student Papers Competition. This competition encourages graduate and student members to submit papers on any topic of interest to civil engineers.
Friday 24th February 2012: Register your interest in entering the competition
Monday 5th March 2012: Submission of full length papers (up to 1,500 words)
Wednesday 14th March 2012: Final - prizes are awarded to the winner and runners up. Venue: Student Common Room / Room 2.32 Cassie Building, Newcastle University. 5.45pm for 6.15pm.
