The North West Education Volunteer of the Year Award honours an individual who has shown outstanding commitment to civil engineering by giving his or her time to represent the Institution of Civil Engineers and the profession at school or university events.
Civil engineers working with children and young people through education events are a key way to introduce them to civil engineering and influence their choice of civil engineering as a profession.

The winner will be announced at the North West Civil Engineering Awards Dinner on Friday 12 April 2013 at Low Wood Hotel, Windermere, Cumbria.
