The civil engineering profession has a strong tradition of members supporting colleagues in their professional development.
This award aims to:
- Honour a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) who has shown outstanding commitment to mentoring members of the ICE;
- Demonstrate the important role played by mentors;
- Publicise good practice to employers;
- Encourage members to volunteer as mentors.
