Regional committee

The NW Regional Committee is the focus of ICE’s regional activity in the NW.

The role of the Regional Committee is set out in the NW Constitution and in summary is:

  • To provide a focal point for matters of importance to civil engineers with the NW;
  • To further the learned society role of the institution;
  • Promote and encourage Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of the members;
  • Promote, develop and expand the public perception of the role, duties and achievement of civil engineers;
  • Promote civil engineering as a career;
  • Provide an impartial viewpoint on civil engineering matters when required.
