One of a series of frequently asked questions from North West ICE members on Professional Review.
What do I need to know about Health, Safety and Welfare for my Professional Review?
Health, Safety and Welfare is one of nine attributes or competencies (ICE 3001 Appendix A) that must be demonstrated at Professional Review. Failure to demonstrate the HS&W attribute will result in failure of your Review, even if you satisfactorily demonstrate the other eight attributes.

The Development Objectives (ICE 3005A) provide guidance on building these attributes, especially E2 and in Membership Guidance Note (MGN) 20.
The attribute can only be developed to the required depth and breadth by carrying out, managing or leading HS&W activities (depending upon the target grade of membership), supplemented by reading about the subject.
