- Identify 2 potential sponsors, both MUST be ICE members, EngTech or IEng or CEng - Consult with your SCE or mentor
- If submitting your Development Objectives, ensure that you will have them all signed off well in advance of deadline for Submission (Part A) [1] |

The Review Day - Technician Professional Review |
|
Submission Part A (sent to Admissions and Transfers - in January or July) – three copies of each of the following:
- Application Form (ICE 3103) or Resit Application Form (ICE 3131).
- Sponsor’s Questionnaires (ICE 3123) – to be returned by each sponsor directly to ICE
- Evidence of full attainment of Educational Base for the Technician grade of membership (unless this has been already approved eg acceptance as a graduate member)
- Training Review Certificate (ICE 3144 or 2144), Career Appraisal pass letter from ICE, or a copy of signed-off Development Objectives summary (all optional)
- A one page précis of each of your proposed reports, signed by your lead sponsor (to assist in selection of the Reviewers).
- Evidence of any disability or anything that may affect your performance at Review
- Fee (non returnable)
Submission Part B (sent to each of the nominated Reviewers at least 10 working days prior to the date of your Review)
- One copy of your Experience Report signed by you and your lead sponsor
- One copy of your Project Report signed by your lead sponsor
- One copy of your CPD records (PDR and DAP)
- Evidence of completion of IPD (copy of signed off Development Objectives as Appendix to Experience Report, if available)
- Passport sized photo (with name and membership number, if applicable)
- A stamped addressed postcard, if you want confirmation of receipt of your documents
- Covering letter
Notes
i) Candidates who have achieved an accredited NVQ3 are exempted from demonstrating some Development Objectives (see MGN 7) and may elect to submit a Portfolio Report in lieu of a Project Report (see MGN 38)
ii) Candidates who do not possess the educational base for EngTech TMICE may elect to apply using the Technical Report Route (see MGN 36)
