One in a series of frequently asked questions from North West ICE members on Training Schemes. We outline the process of registering the ICE 3144 Training Review & Completion Certificate with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
I'm just about to have my Training Review with my SCE to sign off my 3144/2144 (Training Review & Completion Certificate). How do I register this with ICE?
When your SCE is satisfied that you have:
- completed your employer’s Training Scheme,
- met the Development/Core objectives to the required level and
- achieved the appropriate amount of relevant and acceptable CPD,
your SCE must complete and sign the 3144/2144.
It should then be sent to the Regional Support Team (RST) (ICE North West, CUBE Building, 113-115 Portland Street, Manchester M1 6DW) for countersignature and registration on ICE’s database. The form will then be returned to you for you to retain until you are ready to submit for Professional Review.
Please make sure that this is procedure done well in advance of any formal submission for Professional Review.
A member of the RST may contact you to arrange a visit to discuss your training with you and your SCE and to offer advice and guidance as you progress towards the Professional Review.
