GWoS Committee

The organisation of the activities and affairs of ICE GWoS come under the control and direction of the main GWoS Committee, membership of which comprises a combination of elected and appointed members together with representatives of various sub-groups all as described in the Branch Constitution.

The Committee oversees the activities and events, the development and organisation of which are generally undertaken by standing subcommittees.

Elected Committee Members are voted in by the Glasgow & West of Scotland membership to serve a term of 3 years.

The GWoS ‘year’ commences annually in September at the AGM, and thereafter the main committee meets on 4/5 occasions during the year to receive updating reports from, and give overall direction to the various subcommittees.  The membership of the committee is:

All SIGs are encouraged to be represented and submit reports on local activities to the main committee.
