The ICE Scotland Committee was formed in November 2009, following the union of the East of Scotland and Glasgow & West of Scotland regions into a single region.
The objectives of the ICE Scotland Committee are described under the four strands of activity noted below.
Knowledge transfer
Harnessing knowledge worldwide to provide learning opportunities across the knowledge streams
Public voice
Engaging with the media, UK and Scottish government administrations to raise awareness of the value to the national economy of engineering expertise in infrastructure development
Broad and inclusive membership
Attracting recruiting qualifying, satisfying and retaining members
Good business practice
Maintaining control of income and expenditure and production of annual business plans
