The ICE Scotland Committee was formed in November 2009, following the union of the East of Scotland and Glasgow & West of Scotland regions into a single region.
The five year plan objectives for ICE Scotland are:
- To make professional qualification through ICE the civil engineering qualification of choice in Scotland
- To provide a high quality knowledge transfer network to meet member needs, to lead engineering thinking and benefit society
- To be the leading voice of infrastructure in Scotland raising the profile of civil engineering
