ICE Scotland has a team of Membership Development Officers dedicated to the support of members and their companies on the routes to Professional Qualification.
The MDO team offer individual support to members of all grades working towards Professional Qualification. They also hold workshops on a range of Membership topics at locations around the Region. For more information please follow the link in the menu on the left.

David Kennedy, MDO

David was head of Engineering Services at Aberdeen City Council until 2005 and is a long standing member of the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers, where among other things, he took responsibility for pre-19 activity. He has also acted as a Supervising Civil Engineer.

After completing a PhD in civil engineering at QUB in Belfast, Donna worked in civil engineering consultancy in Glasgow for 12 years, working mainly on wastewater, environmental, rivers and flooding projects. She has managed projects involving diverse teams of engineers, GIS specialists and environmental scientists. She was an SCE and as a graduate was very involved in G&S committees in both NI and Scotland.

Patricia joined ICE Scotland from the rail industry where she had worked in a range of roles, latterly being her company’s Supervising Civil Engineer and responsible for the training of apprentice, technician and graduate engineers.
