Civil engineering in your town!

Schools resources

ICE South East England has been instrumental in developing a new national resource for schools to encourage children to think about how their daily lives are affected by civil engineering.

The image is designed to stimulate debate among younger children, who are asked to identify as many examples of civil engineering as they can.

The idea behind the game is to move away from factual-based presentations and enter the world of imaginative and creative debate. The cartoon style is deliberate to deliver the concepts to young people in a format that is familiar and accessible to them.
