South Branch

The South Branch area covers West Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and has a number of strong special interest groups. With around 3,500 members, it is home to approximately 30% of the region.

The main South Branch Committee has around 16 members who meet most months.  The committee is responsible for implementing the business plan in the area.

Brian Hillman

Brian has been a Committee member of the ICE South Branch since 2009. He is currently a Technical Director at the Fareham Office of Opus International. He has worked in Civil Engineering Consultancy for 34 years primarily in maritime works including geotechnical aspects and also for a while in structures. Brian is keen to improve the image of the ICE, improve the accessibility of members in the east of the region to meetings and help graduates into  Civil Engineering.
