The G&S Group exists to organise activities, both professional and social, which are of interest to graduate and student members of ICE. It also exists to represent the views of graduates and student members within the many discussions, debates and decisions that take place within ICE.
Evening Meetings: Evening meetings are held once a month throughout the session on topics of interest to graduate and student members of ICE. If you have any suggestions on any aspects of the evening meetings, please contact one of the Chairmen.
Written Assignment Groups: Two written assignment groups are active in ICE South. The groups write trial plans and essays on various topics, and arrange invited speakers on those subjects.
Social Activities: The G&S Group organises regular subsidised social activities throughout the year. These include the five-a-side football tournament, a go-karting evening and ten-pin bowling. Watch out for these events throughout the year.
Seminars: Seminars are organised which will be of specific interest to G&S members. For example, a half-day seminar on becoming a member of the Institution, for those close to sitting their exams, takes place every 6 months. These will be advertised nearer the time; however, if you wish to receive any general information about them in advance, then please contact the Chairman.
If you would like to join the G & S Group or have any issues you would like to raise, then please contact the Chairman.
