The Graduates and Students Committee is a pro-active group whose objective is to bring young ICE members into contact with the Institution's activities in general and the Thames Valley Branch's in particular.
Our meetings are held at regional offices in Reading, Oxford and Guildford (linked by teleconference). These meetings are not exclusively for “The Committee” and all members of ICE are welcome to attend. Contact Laura Benton

We had fantastic attendance at our two meetings in March on the subjects of the A3 Hindhead Tunnel and BIM. Many thanks to the speakers and everyone who attended.

We are also committed to assist, inform and to educate graduates as they progress to qualify as Chartered, Incorporated and Technician Engineers.
Our activities include:
- School liaison
- Student liaison
- Evening meetings
- Social and networking events
- Written assignment groups
- Sports events
- Papers competitions
We have recently introduced teleconferencing to our committee meetings to help those would like to join in but find travel difficult. Please contact Ricky Morris for further details.
We are concerned that we are unable to support graduates and students in the Oxford / Milton Keynes areas as there are no members on the committee representing them. If you are a member in these areas and would like to activate a group we'd love to hear from you!
