ICE Plymouth Graduates and Students Committee
The ICE Plymouth G&S Committee represents approximately 400 Graduate & Student members of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) living within the Plymouth Area. ICE Plymouth G&S is responsible for arranging regular, formal and informal meetings, social and sporting events to provide opportunities for Graduates and Students to:
- learn about the profession
- socialise
- discover professional and voluntary opportunities available
- contribute to the wider community and promote the engineering profession
The ICE Plymouth G&S is also responsible for representing the views of local G&S membership on the ICE council via the Institution's Graduates & Students Regional and National Committees (GSNet).
ICE Plymouth G&S holds four events per year, to tie in with university terms and the summer vacation period. These events are to be a combination of presentations, site visits, networking events and social/teambuilding activities.
In addition to the calendar of events, the committee explores opportunities to contribute to the wider community and promote the engineering profession through voluntary work.
