The Committee directs the work of the Regional Support Team (RST), all of whom are paid employees of the Institution headed by the Regional Director. The RST is responsible for delivering the Business Plan, Membership Development, Communications, Public and Media Relations and Administration.
The Committee, through its various branches and groups supported by the RST, organises an extensive programme of learned society activities and social events for Members of the Institution throughout the South West. The RST also organises events specifically for those preparing to take reviews leading to recognised professional qualifications.
