The aim of ICE South West's Written Assignment Groups is to give guidance and practice in writing essays for ICE's chartered professional review (CPR) and chartered professional review progressive (CPRP).
At each meeting there will be a presentation on a topic from the ICE’s list of topics, which can be found in MGN21 Written Assignments for Chartered Professional Review (CPR) and Chartered Professional Review Progressive (CPRP). This is then discussed by the group and a joint brainstorming session is carried out before an essay plan is produced. Prior to the next meeting each participant then uses the essay plan to write an essay on the topic. Essays are shared between participants at the subsequent meeting. Over a period of time it is possible to build up a library of your own and other people’s essays for most of the topic areas you may encounter at your review and also develop your essay writing and written communication skills.
Each Written Assignment Group is run by prospective review candidates and is supported by a Membership Development Officer (MDO) from ICE SW.
