The main committee is made up of volunteers from within the civil engineering profession based in the West Midlands region.
The committee members meet on a monthly basis to discuss current issues and to direct the work of the Regional Support Team (RST) which is headed by the Regional Director.
Through working closely with the RST, the committee put together an extensive programme of events for members of the institution which cover learned society activities, social events and also timely current affairs discussions which form part of the Chairman’s calendar.
