The Graduate and Student Papers Competition is held every year to promote and reward excellence in the communication of civil engineering issues and ideas.
Papers may be on any topic of interest to Civil Engineers, from a university design or research project to a quarterly report, year in industry or construction site report.
Submit your synopsis (of around 300–400 words) with the Application Form (ICE Y&H 3159) to iceyandh@ice.org.uk no later than Wednesday 30th November 2011. Entries will then be judged, and successful entrants invited to submit a full paper which will be presented at an evening meeting.
Competition Timeline
Wednesday 30th November 2011 - Deadline for receiving application form and synopsis. Successful entrants are then invited to submit a full paper.
Monday 16th January 2012 - Deadline for full papers.
Thursday 2nd February - Full papers are presented at an evening meeting.
