The Shaping Society Award aims to encourage civil engineers to consider, debate and influence society on how they can positively shape our Region's future.
Entries are invited from members who have achieved an ICE professional qualification within the last ten years. The Award will be judged on a submission between 500 – 1000 words which addresses the question: Can improved engineering solutions be achieved with reduced resources?
The winner will receive £100 and two tickets to the 56th Annual Gala Dinner Dance in York on Friday 18 March 2011, at which a certificate will be presented.
Entries must be received on or before Friday 18 February 2011.
