Membership surgeries provide opportunities for anyone who would like a confidential, 45-minute individual consultation with one of ICE’s Membership Development Officers (MDOs). These may be for advice on any aspect of ICE training and qualifications.
If you have an ICE Training Agreement, an MDO will wish to meet you during routine visits but this will rarely be on a one-to-one basis. A Membership Surgery appointment would be appropriate for obtaining one-to-one advice that you are unable to obtain from your Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE), for advice following a Professional Review failure or, sometimes, for signing-off a Completion Certificate.
As the table below shows, Membership Surgeries are spread throughout the year and throughout the region. Anyone may book themselves in to any surgery.
