Newsletter

ICE Local is ICE Yorkshire and Humber's Regional newsletter.

Previously known as the Briefing prior to November 2011, ICE Local is currently published on a bimonthly basis. The newsletter is available to read online and a limited number of print copies are sent to companies in the Region.

Regular features include:

  • Spotlight on Regional Achievers - we report on the achievements of local engineers.
  • Regional Project Focus - to date these have included Leeds Arena, Project Neptune in Hull, White Rose Way in Doncaster, Fulford Rising Mains, and two special editions on the projects entered for the 2012 and 2013 Yorkshire and Humber Awards.
  • ICE Member Benefits - a different membership benefit is highlighted in each issue.
  • Reports on committees and interest group activities in the Region.
  • Articles, often with a regional slant, on topics such as CPD, CDM, Renewable Energy, and the importance of "soft skills" in the workplace.
