This shows a step by step approach to how you can acces and use the framework. The Framework will be available from 7 November, 2011
Step 1:
Visit www.ice.org.uk/my-ice and login to “MyICE” account
Step 2:
Under the “Competency Framework” toolbar, click on “New Assessment”
You will see an initial page showing the individual Practice, Behavioural and Contextual Competency areas. Allow approximately 20-30 minutes for each competency area. Select one competency area and begin answering the assessment questions using the drop-down list provided.
Step 4:
After reviewing the answers click on the “Submit” button to get the assessment report and the Interactive report chart
Step 5:
Click on “View development opportunities” to learn about the development opportunities
Note: Completing the framework can take up to 2 hours. Rest points are provided between sections. Remember, reflecting on your capability and practice is worth the time!
