Benefits of becoming a Graduate member
Becoming a graduate member of ICE entitles you to a wide range of benefits to support you in your civil engineering career which includes:
- Free copies of New Civil Engineer (NCE) magazine or New Civil Engineer International (NCEI) magazine, and free online access to www.nce.co.uk.You can keep up to date with the latest Civil Engineering projects and news, and therefore demonstrate a knowledge of the industry in job applications and interviews.
- The facility to ask a question on any civil engineering topic via Ask Brunel! and get a reply within 24 hours, which could be useful when preparing for tricky interview questions!
- In addition to the above the ICE has a number of additional benefits you can receive when you become a graduate member of ICE.
ICE graduate membership also demonstrates a commitment to the industry, and an expectation of professional development and formal professional qualification.
Am I eligible for Graduate membership
You may apply to become a graduate member of ICE if you hold a qualification that is accepted as meets the educational base for ICE membership. To find out more about the graduate membership entry requirements please visit the graduate member section of the website.
The Graduates and Students Network (GSNet)
The Graduates and Students Network (GSNet) is made up of volunteer graduate and student members of ICE.
Each UK region has a Graduate and Student Committee which provides a representative to GSNet. GSNet members are also involved in other ICE committees and panels.
