Environmental impact assessment handbook, 2nd edition
This guide explains the environmental impact assessment process and legal procedures. It covers each of the steps and associated studies needed to undertake an EIA and to produce a successful Environmental Statement. This edition has been expanded to include a new chapter on Strategic Environmental Assessment and is in line with the Planning Bill enacted in 2008.

The Middle East
This Civil Engineering special focuses on the Middle East. Engineering Sustainability Proceedings
This regular peer-reviewed ICE journal features papers relating to the pursuit and implementation of sustainability principles through engineering planning, design and application. Methodologies for assessing sustainability, policy issues, education and corporate responsibility are also included. The tensions between and integration of social, economic and environmental considerations are also considered. |
