The expert panel meets regularly to advise the Institution on a number of topics within the environment and sustainability sector.
Each panel member specialises within the wider field and provides the ICE with expert knowledge to aid our knowledge development.
Recent projects ICE has completed include:
- Leading a cross industry team to develop CEEQUAL, an assessment and awards scheme for improving the environmental quality and sustainability of civil engineering and the public realm.
- Working with the Joint Board of Moderators on guidelines for sustainable development issues, influencing the way in which ICE accredits degrees leading to chartered engineer status.
