Archives Panel

The ICE Archive Panel comprises ICE members and other with an interest in, and expert knowledge of, the history of civil engineering and its literature.

The Panel advises the archivist and Head of Knowledge Transfer on the acquisition and preservation of records, organises exhibitions and advises on research activity.

The Panel's mission statement is "To promote understanding of the evolution of civil engineering through the preservation, study and interpretation of original documentation, records and contemporary publications and to fulfil the Institution’s legal obligations and administrative requirements for its own records."

The panel's vision is "To create the archive of first choice for all seeking information on the history of civil engineering, the Institution and the works of its members."
