The object of CESMM is to set out the procedure to which a Bill of Quantities should be prepared and priced and the quantities of work expressed and measured.
The latest edition (3rd edition) was published in 1991 and reprinted with corrections in 1992.
ICE in conjunction with the Civil Engineering Contractors Association, the Association of Consulting Engineers, the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors is currently reviewing CESMM to ensure it stay up-to-date with industry best practice.
