Wind EngineeringSociety
Wind Engineering is a wide ranging multi-disciplinary subject concerned with the effects of wind on the natural and built environment. Wind engineers are involved in managing the risks of wind induced hazards, predicting wind loads on structures and predicting the pedestrian level wind environment. They also work to exploit the wind resource for pollutant dispersion, natural ventilation and as a renewable energy.
