ICE Student Chapter UM

The ICE Student Chapter at the University of Malaya (UM) organises interesting events for civil engineering students. The aim of the group is to:

  • Increase students' knowledge and perspective by giving them a range of civil engineering experience
  • Help students to develop their abilities and share their knowledge.
  • Build links with other institutions, organisations and learned societies
  • Organise civil engineering seminars, workshops, visits and inter-universities competitions

ICE Student chapter UNITEN

The ICE Student Chapter at the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) organises interesting events for civil engineering students. The aim of the group is to:

  • Help wider society understand civil engineering and raise the profile of the profession
  • Give students support and advice as they work towards becoming professionally qualified
  • Introduce and share knowledge
  • Help students meet other young civil engineers and professionals in Malaysia
  • Encourage students to develop professionally and help them in achieving it

ICE Student Chapter UCSI

The formation of an ICE Student Chapter at UCSI University Kuala Lumpur Campus is an important step in the developing the students to become well-rounded, professional engineers. Initial Professional Development practice and experience acquired through this student chapter will prepare members for a career of lifelong learning and Continuous Professional Development within the ICE locally and internationally.

Students will also able to enjoy the benefits that ICE offers, including access to ICE's international knowledge network. The virtual library is an excellent source for engineering solutions and research-based projects, where students will have the chance to engage with ICE students and graduates all around the world through the Graduates and Students Network exchanging ideas, opinions, knowledge and experience.

Objectives

  • To 'foster and promote the art and science of Civil Engineering'.
  • To enhance and broaden the knowledge and perspective of Civil Engineering students at UCSI University Kuala Lumpur Campus by giving international exposure.
  • To prepare a platform for all Civil Engineering students to develop their abilities and share their knowledge.
  • To foster good relations with allied institutions, organisations and learned society.
  • To organise seminars, courses, workshops, visits and the university competitions regarding Civil Engineering Projects.
