    The East Midlands Regional Committee is made up of volunteers from all of its branches, special interest groups and sections. It sets the direction for ICE in the East Midlands and carries out the ICE business plan.

Informing Opinion and Learning

ICE members in the East Midlands provide expert information and advice to decision makers on transport, energy, water, flooding and waste. The Informing Opinion and Learning Committee promotes civil engineering and the work of ICE members across the region, raising the profile of the profession among policymakers, the public and the media.

Education and Inspiration Committee

Panel for Historical Engineering Works (PHEW)

The Panel for Historical Engineering Works (PHEW) aims to promote an understanding of our rich civil engineering heritage among civil engineers and the broader public.

The East Midlands PHEW group organises events about the lives of historical civil engineers, the history of civil engineering and civil engineering projects.
