The Resource Management Community of Practice (COP) works with ICE staff to help deliver a wealth of civil engineering knowledge. This includes:

Building capacity and skills in areas such as waste management, resource recovery, and energy from waste
Influencing ICE policy for waste, resource management and the Circular economy
Producing research and best practice guidance for the sector

COP Leadership and Guidance

The Resource Management COP is supported by a leadership group comprising industry experts, and primarily supports our decarbonisation knowledge programme.

David Greenfield

Specialising in strategic environmental project and programme development, procurement advice, efficiency and improvement advice and political understanding and critiquing, David is Managing Director of SOENECS Ltd offering environmental and resource efficiency solutions to Governments, Local Waste Partnerships and other stakeholders.

ICE needs your help to help us build and develop its expert technical and practical knowledge.

As an expert member of the community, you will be able to share knowledge, thoughts and experiences with like-minded professionals and collaborate with others to help achieve the community’s vision?

Community members do not have to be ICE members, but they must have appropriate knowledge skills and expertise in alignment with the vision of the relevant community.

Communication between the Community shall be facilitated through a dedicated Microsoft Teams group, providing the opportunity to communicate with ICE and professionals with a shared interest in the COP’s objectives.
