Geospatial Community of Practice
Geospatial engineering is all about multi-dimensional mapping and organisation. It's applied in many sectors, and is a particularly important area for asset managers such as local authorities.
Whether related to waste, energy or building capacity and skills – our grouped expertise cuts across this vast sector.
The Resource Management Community of Practice (COP) works with ICE staff to help deliver a wealth of civil engineering knowledge. This includes:
The Resource Management COP is supported by a leadership group comprising industry experts, and primarily supports our decarbonisation knowledge programme.
Specialising in strategic environmental project and programme development, procurement advice, efficiency and improvement advice and political understanding and critiquing, David is Managing Director of SOENECS Ltd offering environmental and resource efficiency solutions to Governments, Local Waste Partnerships and other stakeholders.
ICE needs your help to help us build and develop its expert technical and practical knowledge.
As an expert member of the community, you will be able to share knowledge, thoughts and experiences with like-minded professionals and collaborate with others to help achieve the community’s vision?
Community members do not have to be ICE members, but they must have appropriate knowledge skills and expertise in alignment with the vision of the relevant community.
Communication between the Community shall be facilitated through a dedicated Microsoft Teams group, providing the opportunity to communicate with ICE and professionals with a shared interest in the COP’s objectives.
If you are committed to supporting the reduction of waste and reuse of resources, then we want to hear from you.
If you are an engineer or infrastructure professional working in the waste, resource management and interested in joining the Community of Practice to support the development of ICE knowledge and policy, please contact our knowledge team.
If you have a question for our Resource Management Community of Practice, are interested in adding your input to the community, or require details on the communities output, then let us know.
