About this event

Are you a final year university student, recent graduate or with a few years' experience already? Well, now is the time for you to think about becoming professionally qualified!

Your Initial Professional Development is where you record your knowledge, experience and abilities to meet key attributes that are required for Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers. This workshop aims to give clarity on what exactly is expected of you, good practice in managing your Initial Professional Development and what students and new graduates should bear in mind as they start their professional journey.

For the experienced graduates, the focus will be on reviewing the transfer from historic Development Objectives and how to reflect on Attributes that are traditionally misunderstood or considered much harder to achieve. This part of the workshop will involve several case studies and will be finished off with a Q&A.
