About this event

A useful one day training course on CDM2015, focussing on the roles and responsibilities of both the principal designer and the designer under the new regulations.

The programme also explores the importance of considering potential temporary works from the earliest stages of the project.

The programme aligns with the 2015 regulations and considers the process of managing and co-ordinating health and safety in design. Delegates are offered guidance on:

  • The communication process
  • Collaborative team-based risk management
  • Change management
  • Accident prevention strategies

The training course is highly interactive, encouraging delegate participation in exercises and group work throughout, to ensure skills learnt will be confidently applied in practice. By the end of the course delegates will be clear on how to use risk management tools to inform their design decisions relating to reasonably foreseeable risks.
