Mentor supported training webinar

About this webinar

This webinar will give mentors and graduates an introduction to our Mentor Supported Training option for completing Initial Professional Development (IPD).

Launched in 2015, Mentor Supported Training helps engineers complete their IPD. It’s aimed at graduate members who are not able to follow the ICE Training Scheme via a Training Agreement with their company.

This webinar will provide guidance for both graduates who would like to use this option to proactively manage their IPD and for members who are, or have an interest in, mentoring graduates through their IPD.

The webinar programme includes:

  • Initial Professional Development
  • Overview of Programme
  • Getting started
  • IPD in practice
  • The Professional Review

For new mentors, attending this webinar completes the briefing required for appointment as an ICE approved IPD mentor for the programme.
