About this workshop

Are you an aspiring civil engineer who has recently enrolled on an ICE Employer-led Training Scheme, or a Mentor Supported Training programme? Or is this something that you are planning to do?

If so, join the ICE membership team to find out everything you need to know about getting started.

As a proactive trainee civil engineer, you will need to write about your competence against the nine attributes of an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution. This process is called Initial Professional Development (IPD).

This event aims to help you to understand what you need to do to manage your IPD. This includes writing regular development reports, recording your Continued Professional Development (CPD) and making the most of learning opportunities available to you.

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about your own IPD and to network with other students and graduates.
