Overview

This workshop series is aimed at technicians who hold accredited academic qualifications* (eg BTEC L3 or above) and have work experience in the civil engineering industry, who wish to apply for Technician Membership of the ICE and registration as Engineering Technician (EngTech MICE).

Experienced technicians without academic qualifications may apply based on work experience alone.

It will cover the following topics:

  • The Attributes required of an Engineering Technician
  • Continuing Professional Development
  • The Application
  • What to expect in the Professional Review

The event will be run by Suzanne Willis, Membership Development Officer.

Programme: all workshops are currently planned online from 12.00 to 14.00. If it is possible to hold face-to-face workshops later in the year, we will agree this option with you.
