Introduction to Experiential Learning (IEng and CEng)

Overview

The experiential learning assessment (ELA) is for experienced engineers who are Graduate, Technician or Incorporated Members of ICE, who have either:

• An accredited foundation degree, an accredited HND, an accredited HNC, or a qualification that has been assessed to be equivalent to one of these and who want to become an Incorporated Civil Engineer (IEng MICE),
• Or an accredited Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and who want to become a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE).

Successful ELA applicants will be able to go on to complete their Initial Professional Development at IEng or CEng level and then apply for professional review.

This webinar provides an introduction to the application process. We will discuss what is meant by experiential learning, the learning outcomes you must demonstrate that you have achieved from your professional experience, how to apply and what to do next.
