A briefing by your local ICE Membership Development Officer for those applying to become:

  • a supervising civil engineer (SCE) on an ICE Training Scheme
  • a mentor for alternative routes to membership, i.e. Mentor Supported Training Scheme

The Approval Briefing will include:

  • Educational Base and options for EngTech, IEng and CEng qualification
  • The roles of SCEs and DEs on ICE Training Schemes
  • Update on IPD Online
  • Current Professional Review Processes
  • Alternative routes to membership: Mentor-Supported, Career Appraisal, Technical Report, EU Directive and EngTech Membership
  • An overview of the accessible support and training offered by your local membership team in London and South East
  • Other ways to get involved and support the ICE
