The programme aligns with the latest regulations and considers the process of managing and co-ordinating health and safety in design. Delegates are offered guidance on:

  • The communication process
  • Collaborative team-based risk management
  • Change management
  • Accident prevention strategies

It also explores the importance of considering potential temporary works from the earliest stages of the project.

The training course is highly interactive, encouraging delegate participation in exercises and group work throughout, to ensure skills learnt will be confidently applied in practice. By the end of the course, delegates will be clear on how to use risk management tools to inform their design decisions relating to reasonably foreseeable risks.

This training course has been peer reviewed by the ICE Health and Safety Panel as part of the ICE knowledge transfer strategy to ensure the communication of best practice.
