The ICE Knowledge Hub: FAQs

The ICE Knowledge Hub provides ICE members with a wide range of content designed to help with their continued professional development (CPD).  

Below you will find answers to commonly asked questions, to help you make the most of the platform and the courses on offer.  

The ICE Knowledge Hub is a user-friendly e-learning platform that provides civil and infrastructure engineers with a range of training opportunities. It allows ICE members to access essential resources, created by the ICE, and track their CPD progress.

You can access the ICE Knowledge Hub via this link: knowledgehub.ice.org.uk/learn

You will need to be an ICE member and registered to use the hub. Your username is your ICE membership number.

Before you can log into the Knowledge Hub you will need to create a password. The first time you access the Knowledge Hub login page, please click the ‘Forgot your password?’ button and enter your ICE membership number.

An email will be sent to the email address listed for you on the ICE’s membership database, with instructions for setting up your password.

Yes – all ICE members can access the Knowledge Hub. If you have changed your email address, please contact the support team at [email protected] They can ensure your details are up-to-date.

The ICE has created a wide range of content for civil and infrastructure engineers. For each topic you will find content in multiple formats. There are written knowledge packs with infographics and case studies, audio explainers, and audio and video Tech Talks.

The ICE Knowledge Hub has built-in tracking tools that allow learners to monitor their progress and performance. You can view your progress on the platform's dashboard. The ‘My Activities’ page provides real-time feedback on your course completion rate.

No, unfortunately information on which courses you started or completed on ICE’s previous learning management system will not be available on the new version of the ICE’s Knowledge Hub.
