About this event

As an introduction to point moments, this event is primarily for first year students and those who are new to analysis.

The structure of the topic will focus mainly on:

  • What is a point moment?
  • Why / when one should be used and the application
  • How to analyse data
  • The result of combining point bending with traditional bending moments
  • Shear effects 
  • Application / review of structural analysis models

This event is organised and hosted by the ICE Merseyside branch.
