Edward Bingham, ICE EM Regional Council Rep, will host a question and answer session relating to ICE.
Edward will be providing an overview of recent ICE activities in the region and internationally. He will also be promoting our upcoming events and discuss ICE’s main objectives for 2019.
Edjoined Scott Wilson/URS in September 2001 and is currently a Technical Director with AECOM Strategic Highways. He has 14 years’ experience in the design and supervision of major roads projects, 9 years as a Chartered Civil Engineer throughout all lifecycle stages of a project. He is currently Sector Operations Manager E&W (North). His career has been within the Highways Sector, delivering large, multidisciplinary projects for major Clients. This has included delivery of Smart Motorways, consulting and advising on standards as technical lead and PM.
Edward joined the Institution as a Graduate Member in 2001 and became part of his local Branch; subsequently he undertook a number of roles, culminating in Regional Chair 2013/14. At a national level, he continued his influence through implementation of Company Champions and led the regional response to State of the Nation 2014. As ICE East Midlands Council member he aims to promote and support the development of strategy and policies, representing views and interests of Membership as well as maintenance of technical and professional standards in both qualification and practice.
