The presentation sessions will be followed by an Open Forum discussion. Queries or issues for discussion at the Open Forum may be submitted in advance (email address below) or raised on the day.
The Forum should be of particular interest to all those involved in reservoir safety, particularly Supervising Engineers and prospective Supervising Engineers. The Forum counts as one day of CPD.
The Forum is organised on a not-for-profit, voluntary basis. This has enabled us to keep the cost of the Forum to a minimum. There are concessionary rates for delegates under 35 years of age and no charge for students.
The price includes a hot buffet lunch and refreshments. Delegates will be able to tour the adjacent museum during lunch, if desired, for a discounted rate of £2.50 per person.
Exhibitors will be welcome at no additional charge provided they send at least two delegates at the Standard Rate.
The BDS is considering whether delegates would benefit from the provision of transport from the nearby Birmingham International airport/train station to and from the venue.
Please contact Duncan Scott by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you wish to exhibit, submit an issue for discussion at the Open Forum or if you would make use of transport between Birmingham International and the venue if the BDS were to provide it.
Standard rate: £85
Under 35 years of age: £50
