Behavioural quality & setting up for success, Liverpool

About this event

Perry Shard is the Quality Lead for Balfour Beatty Major Projects Highways having previously been the Quality & Handover Manager on the £300m Manchester Smart Motorway Scheme. On that scheme, he developed and implemented a successful quality strategy to deliver a "right first time" approach using the concept of behavioural quality. RFT is something that most people understand, but application can be very hard.

Think of your own personal experiences around quality; how many times have you built flat pack furniture first time in the right order? If you are uncompromising in your approach at home, why is your behaviour different in the workplace? Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, skilful execution by all and pride in getting the work done right first time.

In this presentation, Perry will share his thoughts on setting up for success and provide some tips & tools on replicating yourselves.

Refreshments will be served from 18:00 for a meeting start of 18:30.
