It is a popular, full-day event open to all which embraces a wide range of geotechnical challenges. With the theme of innovation, and the increasing use of digital technology in geotechnical engineering, exhibitors are encouraged to provide interactive displays to enable attendees to use new software tools, use virtual reality and augmented reality tools, inspect ground models, GIS systems, digital surveys (drone/LiDAR) etc.
Following lunch, the BGA’s AGM will take place at which prizes will be presented to the recipients of various BGA prizes and awards. The day will conclude with a drinks reception in the Exhibition Area of the Great Hall offering networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
