About this event

Birmingham City Council has been engaged with Amey on the Birmingham Cycle Revolution Project since 2015. The first stages of the project focus on improving cycling facilities within a 20-minute cycling time of Birmingham city centre, with 95 km of improvements to existing routes and 115 km of new cycle routes.

The scheme includes improvements to cycling conditions on popular main roads and parallel routes into the city centre, the delivery of quiet cycling routes and 20mph areas within residential areas and the development of local links to cycle routes.

The talk will describe the works delivered to date, upcoming challenges and show how the team have consistently provided value by working collaboratively throughout the stages of the project.
