Bristol Christmas Family Lecture – Airfix: Scaling down reality, Bristol

About this event

What is the history of Airfix? How did it rise to become Britain's most prolific toy manufacturer, and how does it survive today in a vastly different toy market? How does the company use the latest cutting edge methods to research and produce the current generation of market leading model aircraft? And what models are coming in the future, for Santa Claus to put under your tree next year?

Free festive refreshments from 6pm - please register for a place using the 'Book now' buttons.

This is a joint event, brought to you by the local branches of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Nuclear Institute, the West of England Metals and Materials Association and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
