Building tomorrow’s metro: a current approach to risk management, Paris

About this event

Lucy will describe the design approach to current underground Parisian metro and tram projects and specifically the risk management process that is applied, a crucial factor for completing projects to time and to budget. Risks can have a range of sources, from political and legislative, to contractual, geotechnical and environmental, and they can all have a critical impact on project delivery objectives.

The talk will be illustrated with personal experience examples and allow for discussion time afterwards.

Arrival from 18h45. The lecture will be given in English.

Post lecture drinks will be served. Optional paying dinner from 20h30 nearby.
