About this event

The panel will consist of NI Assembly candidates from the five main political parties in Northern Ireland.

This event is a unique opportunity for party candidates to showcase their policy positions across a range of areas, including construction, infrastructure, planning, and housing. The Hustings will be chaired by Mark Simpson BBC political correspondent, and will resemble a 'Question Time' format, with panellists responding to questions from the floor and debating key built environment issues of importance to Northern Ireland.

Together ACE, RICS, ICE, RSUA and RTPI represent 100,000s globally and thousands of members in Northern Ireland. The breadth and depth of the joint professions embodies all aspects of the built environment, encompassing places and spaces shaped by people, buildings, and infrastructure networks.

The BED is a great opportunity for those involved in working in the Built Environment to engage directly with the main political parties in the run up to the election on 5th May.
